When the bomb dropped, everything changed.
Even worse than the mountains of salt where oceans used to be, worse than the armies of mercenaries, worse than HydroSystems Worldwide’s rise to power, was the Cloud.
In the area closest to the bomb’s blast, the very fabric of reality has been damaged. The poison air can steal a person’s humanity, even as it gives great power. The Cloud is home to a deadly cult and nightmarish creatures, and it is fifteen-year-old Ethan Denby’s only hope of survival. If he ever wants to make it home, he’ll have to go where he always knew his journey would end. He will have to go into the heart of the Cloud.
On October 21, this book will be available for purchase. It’s the final book in The Marian Trilogy, which I’ve been working on since 2012. It’s been a long process (more on that later) and one that often felt like it would never end. I’ve been excited about this book and where the story would go since I started writing The Marian, so of course I wanted a cover that would be just as cool as I hope the book itself is.
As always, Denise Wy of Cover Atelier delivered.
I’ve been working with Denise since I started self-publishing. I won a free cover design from her in a contest, and after seeing how talented she was, I haven’t asked anyone else to do a cover for me. I’ve done my own for smaller projects, but when it comes to the big stuff, I don’t go to anyone else. She’s just that good. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: If you need a book cover designed, Denise is fantastic to work with. You can read more about her and her process here.
So there you go. The Cloud. Coming October 21. Keep an eye out for preorders.
If you’re new to the series, I’m offering The Marian for free as part of an evil plan to get you to try it and enjoy it and buy more of my books. I know, I’m a monster. Click here to find it on your favorite ebook retailer and set the wheels of my nefarious scheme in motion.
